The Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, clarified his position ahead of the dramatic hearing in court, in the petitions against the law to reduce the reason for reasonableness. Gallant announced: "We will respect every ruling of the court"

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, upon entering the cabinet meeting, referred to the dramatic discussion that will be held this week at the High Court regarding the petitions against the law to reduce the reasonableness grounds and made it clear that in any case the government will respect the High Court's ruling.

Minister Gallant clarified his position in response to the question of whether the government will respect the ruling in the event that the Supreme Court overturns the law to reduce the reason for reasonableness and said: "My position is known, the State of Israel is a democratic state of law and I will respect any ruling of the Supreme Court."

Minister Karhi: "Ask the High Court if they will respect democracy"

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi was also asked the same question, and replied: "The question is incorrect, Go to the High Court and ask them if they intend to respect democracy in the State of Israel."
