Easier Border Crossings
Good news for Uman passengers: easier border crossings
Preliminary agreements with the Ukrainian government on cooperation and assistance at the border crossings for passengers to the Uman. Minister Porush: "The good news thanks to the Prime Minister's activity"

Israel's ambassador in Kiev, Michael Brodsky, held talks with the commanders of the Ukrainian border guard, and reached preliminary agreements with them that will help and facilitate the arrival of tens of thousands of worshipers in Uman to Ukraine through the bordering countries.
In the discussions, it was agreed that the Ukrainian border guard will work to speed up the border crossing activity as much as possible. The ambassador was also informed that the government of Ukraine responded to Israel's request to strengthen the border crossings forces which will be open on the days before and after Rosh Hashanah continuously 24 hours a day.
This is a complement to the activity carried out in recent months with Moldova, Poland and Hungary to ease the border crossings on their part, and now with the reaching of agreements with Ukraine, passengers are expected to experience a significant relief in the expected travel difficulties from Israel to Uman.
Minister of Jerusalem and Israel's Tradition, Meir Porush: "Thanks to the activities of Prime Minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu - we are privileged to bring significant and dramatic news to the public traveling to the 'holy site' (Tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov) in Uman. We worked together with the political parties to promote contacts with Ukraine in order to complete the plan we formulated together with Rabbi Nachman Bensheya , and now we get to be people with good news. I again call on the public to be attentive to the instructions and the details of the plan that we have published, and with God's help we will be able to arrange all travel matters."
The minister added, "I again thank Foreign Minister Cohen, who has been leading and assisting in the matter for a long time, and Prime Minister Netanyahu, who mobilized in response to my requests and spoke with the President of Ukraine, which made this news possible to the public. May the prayer of the thousands praying at the holy memorial of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav stand to your right."
