Saturday news: Earthquake in Morocco more than 1000 dead

The strongest earthquake in 120 years hit Morocco. It is feared that the number of dead will reach thousands, 17 Israelis are cut off from contact

On the night between Friday and Saturday, a severe earthquake occurred in Morocco. Casablanca and Rabat with a magnitude of 6.8 on the Richter scale.

ZAKA announced that "following the report of over 1,000 dead, and dozens and hundreds of wounded, many of whom are in serious condition. An Israeli delegation of the Home Front Command and ZAKA volunteers is organizing to go out in the coming hours to help and deal with the rescue and locating of casualties."
