"Slandering Israel, Shame on You"

The Likud party against Pardo: "Slandering Israel, shame on you"

In light of Tamir Pardo's statement that Israel conducts an apartheid regime, the Likud party criticized the former head of the Mossad for his words. According to them: "No country in the world operates against terrorism with the high level of morality that Israel operates with."

In the Likud party, on Wednesday, they criticized former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo for his statement that "Israel conducts an apartheid regime." In a statement released by the party, it was stated: "He [Pardo] speaks against Israel; he should be ashamed."

As reported today (Wednesday), former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo was interviewed by the American news agency AP and made harsh statements against the State of Israel. Pardo expressed his views on Israel's actions in the Judea and Samaria territories, alleging that it conducts an apartheid regime. During the interview, he declined to answer whether he held these opinions while serving in his role but mentioned that he had warned Prime Minister Netanyahu several times about the matter. He argued that this conduct is more dangerous than the Iranian nuclear threat, which, according to Netanyahu, is the greatest existential threat.

Likud: "We strongly condemn Pardo's shameful expression"

In response to these statements, the Likud party issued sharp criticism: "We strongly condemn Tamir Pardo's shameful and false expression. No country in the world operates against terrorism with the high level of morality that Israel operates with," they said.

According to them: "The IDF acts with morality to protect Israeli citizens while preventing harm to innocent people. Hospitals in Israel treat Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians alike. Arabs and Jews learn and work together in Israel. Instead of defending the State of Israel and the IDF, Pardo speaks ill of Israel. Pardo should be ashamed."
