Gallant: Congratulations on the determined action that led to the elimination of the terrorist
Minister Gallant addressed this morning's attack: "I send my condolences to the family of the victim in the car ramming attack this morning and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. This was a severe attack. I commend the security forces for their determined action that led to the swift elimination of the terrorist."
In the political arena, there was a response to the severe attack this morning. The leader of the Machane HaMamlachti party, Member of Knesset Benny Gantz, expressed his sorrow and addressed the tragic event this morning: "Another tough morning. Lethal terrorism claims lives again. I extend my condolences to the family of the victim, wish a swift recovery to the injured, and commend the response of the IDF and the security personnel of the Border Police that led to the neutralization of the assailant. Even on this morning, we will remember – Israeli resilience is stronger than terrorism. With determination and responsibility, we will overcome our enemies."
Member of Knesset Michal Waldiger from the religious Zionist party conveyed: "Soldiers are heading on leave, but a cursed terrorist, bloodthirsty and unbridled, runs them over on the side of the road. We are dealing with ruthless cruelty fueled by relentless incitement. Gallant, a member of my coalition, the leaders of Hamas are still alive and fanning the flames of terror, it's a shame on their existence."
