The child who drowned two months ago in a swimming pool in the community of Emmanuel met today (Wednesday) with the paramedics who saved his life.

As previously mentioned, about two months ago, a 10-year-old child lost consciousness after drowning in a swimming pool in Emmanuel. He was rescued by the lifeguard when he was unresponsive. After resuscitation efforts and once his heartbeat was restored, the child was transferred in critical condition to the hospital for further treatment. As mentioned, today an emotional meeting took place between the child and the United Hatzalah team members from the Emmanuel branch who saved his life. During the meeting, certificates of appreciation were presented to the paramedics by the child and his parents.

The paramedics who met the child told him during the meeting: "It's very moving to meet you. We performed advanced resuscitation procedures on you by the poolside, and after a miraculous turn of events, your heartbeat returned. We then transferred you to the hospital where the doctors continued to fight to save your life."
