The Ministry of Health publishes a bathing warning for the Sela beach in Bat Yam, in light of abnormal results in a water quality test.

The office said that as a result of laboratory tests that examined the water quality at the beach, and discovered high results of abnormal bacterial concentrations in the seawater.

The ministry stressed that the warning will remain in effect until further notice, and until there are changes in the water quality at the beach, and that there is currently no indication of when the beach will reopen.

Earlier today, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health announced the decision to close the separate beach and the Hilton beach in Tel Aviv for bathing, also where abnormal concentrations of pollutants were found in the beach water, which led to the closure of both beaches in Tel Aviv until further notice.
