Caught red-handed: Stolen agricultural equipment was found in a village in the Judea and Samaria region

In a joint operation by the Border Police and the IDF, the forces entered the village of Barta'a in the Judea and Samaria region and found stolen agricultural equipment worth tens of thousands of NIS

Border Patrol fighters and investigators located dozens of stolen agricultural equipment items, estimated to be worth tens of thousands of shekels, and arrested a suspect in possession of them in the village of Barta'a in the Judea and Samaria region.

An investigation that was conducted in the central unit of the Border Police in the coastal sector regarding thefts of water clocks and other equipment from agricultural lands in Geva Carmel, Pardes Hana, and Givat Ada, with an estimated value of tens of thousands of shekels, led to intelligence, as a result of which Border Police soldiers and detectives went on an activity yesterday together with IDF soldiers in the village of Barta'a in the territory of Judea and Samaria.

As part of the activity, the forces searched the compound in Bartaa, during which they found 38 water clock containers, 24 meters and a DVR.

The suspect, the owner of the place, a resident of Bartaa at the age of 45, along with the findings, was detained for questioning at the central unit of the Coast Guard.
