The head of the Binyamin Regional Council, Yisrael Gantz, regarding the National Security Council's opposition to support for settlements: "It's time to strengthen the residents – those who oppose are invited to come and draw strength from them.

"The residents of Binyamin, Judea, and Samaria stand courageously under a murderous terrorist attack. It's time to strengthen them.

"I propose to anyone seeking to oppose the reinforcement initiative led by the government, to come here and draw strength from the residents – families, children, and youth who live here with dedication. They are pioneers at the forefront of the struggle. I am convinced that the Prime Minister and the ministers will embrace the important initiative to strengthen the settlements."
