After the planned discussion was brought forward twice due to the recent wave of attacks, the Prime Minister's office announced today (Tuesday) that the ministerial committee for national security matters (the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet) concluded its session at the Prime Minister's headquarters in Jerusalem.
According to the Prime Minister's statement, the Diplomatic-Security Cabinet received a series of decisions to target terrorists and their handlers, and it empowered the Prime Minister and the Minister of Security to act accordingly.
It was further clarified that "the cabinet supports the commanders and soldiers of the IDF and the members of the security forces in their activities against the terrorist elements for the security of the citizens of Israel."
