Gallant held a situation assessment ahead of the cabinet meeting

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant held a situational assessment in the presence of senior members of the defense establishment in light of the wave of attacks and ahead of the cabinet meeting that will take place later today

Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, convened senior IDF and the security establishment officials to assess the situation regarding the military's actions in relation to the wave of terrorism, in preparation for the cabinet meeting scheduled for today.

Minister of Defense, Gallant, concluded a short while ago an assessment of the situation regarding the state in Judea and Samaria, and the actions taken by the security establishment in response to the ongoing wave of terror, in preparation for the convening of the State-Security Cabinet meeting where the information will be presented to the cabinet members.

The situation assessment was attended by several senior IDF and security establishment officials, including: Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, Head of the Shabak Ronen Bar, Deputy Head of the Shabak, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, the IDF Chief of Intelligence, and other senior officials.

During the meeting, Gallant emphasized his appreciation for the actions of the security establishment and the security forces in the swift apprehension of the terrorists responsible for the fatal attack last night in Har Hevron, in which Bat-Sheva Nagari was tragically killed. Gallant expressed his appreciation for the overall efforts of the IDF and the security establishment throughout Judea and Samaria against terrorism.
