The attack that occurred today (Monday) in Har Hevron, in which a woman was killed and a man was seriously injured, has sparked strong reactions on social networks. The attack adds to a series of attacks taking place in the country in recent months. Renana Meir, the daughter of the late Dafna Meir who was murdered in her home in the settlement of Otniel, writes a critical post about the security situation.

"In times when there are occasional attacks here and there, and it hits close to home, you pray that you're the only one. You live from the hope that you were the last. That everything will be done to prevent more people from experiencing the same thing. And then you're ready to absorb. In times when the victims of the kingdom have become forsaken by the kingdom, when every Shabbat meal begins with bad news and every day without an attack is a miracle," Meir opened the post.

She explains her criticism: "Don't write that you received the news in shock and astonishment. Don't scream that the head isn't ready to comprehend, because it's ready and aware. Don't tell us that the security forces will settle accounts with all those who seek our souls. Don't quote verses from this week's Torah portion that sin against our daily reality."

Ranana Meir, the daughter of Dafna Meir, Z"L, wrote in a critical post about the security situation: "Write that your hands have spilled the blood, that your eyes have seen and your hands are too short to save," she wrote in pain.

Additionally, Meir wrote about the trauma that the 6-year-old daughter of the victim will carry and addressed the media statement that "her daughter came out unharmed" and wrote about it: "The greatest impact she came out with is the one that isn't visible."
