A person was injured today (Wednesday) by a passing train after entering the railway track area against instructions in the Bat Galim area near Haifa. Emergency and rescue teams arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to the individual.

Following the incident, Israel Railways announced that there are delays and changes in train services in the area of Haifa's Central, Merkaz HaShmona, Bat Galim, and Hof HaCarmel stations. After an hour and a half, it was reported that train services in the Haifa area are gradually returning to normal.
