At the end of the second quarter of the year, banks are publishing their profits and presenting a growth of tens of percentage points. Yesterday, Bank Hapoalim and Discount Bank published their data, and now Bank Leumi and Mizrahi Tefahot are presenting the growth figures.

Bank Leumi presents a profit of 2.4 billion shekels, the largest profit reported so far among bank profits. Due to the rise in interest income this year, the bank reports a jump of about 37% from the previous year's quarterly profits, now reaching 4.28 billion shekels. Bank Hapoalim presented profits totaling 1.922 billion shekels, a jump of about 43% compared to the same quarter last year. The bank's interest income stood at around 4.3 billion shekels, a rise of about 35% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The bank will distribute a dividend amounting to 769 million shekels.

Discount Bank reported profits of approximately 1.2 billion shekels, a surge of 75% compared to the same quarter last year.
