In an interview that Foreign Minister Eli Cohen gave to journalist Majdi Halabi, for the Saudi newspaper "Elaph", the minister referred to the normalization of relations with Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian issue, Iran and the tensions on the northern border. In addition, he addressed the issue of the legal reform and its presentation in the world.

Cohen emphasized that the Netanyahu government brought Israel three peace agreements and that Prime Minister Netanyahu and bin Salman will make history. Regarding the Saudi Foreign Minister's visit to Israel, Cohen said: "A visit by the Saudi Foreign Minister to Israel in the future will be a festive day." Cohen mentioned the Palestinian issue and said that "the Palestinian issue will not be an obstacle to peace with Saudi Arabia."

In addition, Cohen referred to the tensions on the border between Israel and Lebanon: "Nasrallah is weak, and the tent issue is his provocation. Nasrallah is hiding in a bunker like a mouse. Israel can return Lebanon to the Stone Age." In the context of Iran, he said that Iran is the main financier of terrorism in the region and in the world. "It is like a cancer - destroys every country it enters."
