Angus Cloud, who rose to prominence by playing a leading role in the successful series 'Euphoria,' passed away last night (between Monday and Tuesday) at the young age of 25.
Days after the death of his father, the young actor who gained prominence with his first acting role as Fez, the young drug dealer in the Emmy-winning drama series "Euphoria" on HBO, passed away last night, and the cause of his death has not been disclosed.
"With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to an amazing person today," said Cloud's family in a statement.
"As an artist, friend, brother, and son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week, he buried his father and struggled intensely with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing that Angus is now reunited with his father, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his mental health struggles, and we hope that his passing can serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone and don't have to fight this battle silently.
They further added: "We hope the world will remember him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone. At this stage, we ask for privacy as we are still processing this devastating loss."
HBO said: "We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Angus Cloud's death. He was very talented and a beloved part of the network family and 'Euphoria'. We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time."
