Donald Trump: "We should spend less time worrying about Putin and more over illegal migrants"
In a fiery Truth Social post, Trump says America should worry more about domestic threats than Vladimir Putin.

U.S. President Donald Trump dismissed concerns over his increasingly close stance toward Russia, arguing that the United States should focus on domestic security rather than worrying about Vladimir Putin.
“We should spend less time worrying about Putin, and more time worrying about migrant rape gangs, drug lords, murderers, and people from mental institutions entering our Country – So that we don’t end up like Europe!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Trump’s shift in rhetoric on Russia and the war in Ukraine was further highlighted during a tense White House meeting days earlier, where he publicly berated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In a stunning moment captured by reporters, Trump called Zelensky “disrespectful,” leading to the Ukrainian leader’s abrupt departure without finalizing a widely anticipated pact on sharing mineral rights.
The former president’s growing alignment with Putin has raised alarm bells across Europe and within the U.S. Democratic Party, with critics warning that his stance could undermine American national security and global stability.
Regarding the migrant crisis at the border, President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the surge of illegal immigration at the U.S.–Mexico border has been halted, following a historic decline in apprehensions during February, his first full month in office.
According to newly released data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Border Patrol agents recorded just 8,326 apprehensions last month—the lowest monthly total in recorded history. This marks a dramatic contrast to the previous administration, during which CBP reported as many as 300,000 apprehensions in a single month.
