A series of leading anti-Semitic influencers on social media are lamenting Assad's fall and have even begun spreading conspiracy theories blaming Israel and the USA for what is happening in Syria.
A group of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic influencers, who frequently criticize Israel for harming civilians and accuse it of genocide, are now mourning the fall of the dictator Bashar al-Assad, who is estimated to have killed at least half a million of his own people.
Several well-known influencers, who since the October 7 massacre have devoted all their time and effort to tarnishing Israel's image and accusing it of genocide against Gazans, are now defending Assad's regime and even mourning the fall of his rule and rumour's of his death.
Jackson Hinkle, a leading anti-Semitic figure on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), called on his followers to "pray for Syria and for the Assad family." In another tweet, he even accused Israel of invading Syria from the south and began to take control of additional parts of the Golan Heights.
Anastasia Maria Lopez, who is also a popular anti-Semitic influencer on platform X, mourned the fall of the Assad regime and wrote in a post, "My heart bleeds for Syria, we stand with Syria against Jewish terrorists and their Muslim partners." Lopez added to the tweet the flag of Syria under Assad, which was replaced with the takeover of the rebels.
Another post came from an account named "Syrian Girl," an account of a Syrian citizen living in Australia who supports the Assad regime, accuses Israel of genocide, and spreads anti-Semitic conspiracy theories to her hundreds of thousands of followers.
In a post, "Syrian Girl" wrote that "the axis of resistance (the Iranian axis) has been betrayed, we fell in Gaza, in Lebanon, and now in Syria." This may be the end of the axis, but the resistance will remain. The state of terror, Israel, is the eternal enemy of true Syria, and the battle for the true governance and soul of Syria is not over.
