A fire broke out at the Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, after someone threw a Molotov cocktail at the synagogue early Friday morning. Investigations are under way to catch those responsible for the arson.

The shul was fire bombed by terrorists and has been closed down as a result, there is currently ZERO access to the building and all streets around are closed. Witnesses report two people smashing a window to the Shul, entering and pouring petrol around before setting it alight; this occured at around 4:10am local time.

As of now there are no reports of injury B"H.

This is yet another example of the worldwide battle against Anti-Semitism and the horrific spread of violence towards the Jewish people. Multiple of such incidents have indeed occurred in Synagogues and this is not the first case of arson reported.

Initial reports indicate that the hall and one of the synagogues in the building were destroyed. Firefighters and rescue operators are on the scene attempting to control the flames.

The Adass Shul is one of the most famous in Australia and is a central hub for the Orthodox Jewish community. The arson attack has left the Jewish community in shock at the incident.

This is a developing story, more details will be revealed as they are published.
