Western diplomats say that South Africa has lost a number of motions made before the International Court of Justice at the Hague, where they are charging Israel with committing "genocide" in Gaza, according to i24 News.
South Africa had requested the tribunal to establish a "commission of inquiry" to effectively provide the needed evidence that Israel is starving the civilian population in the Gaza Strip and committing other related crimes.
The country also requested that Israel be compelled to answer a list of questions related to international law.
Both requests were rejected, as was South Africa's previous request that it be given a four month extension to beef up its evidence file against Israel.
