Drone attacks intensify in Ukraine-Russian war
Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Moscow
Russian capital awakens to largest UAV assault in two-year conflict; Defense Ministry claims interception of 34 Ukrainian drones.

In an unprecedented escalation, Moscow faced its largest drone assault since 2022 when Ukraine launched 34 drones at the capital Sunday, disrupting operations at three major airports and leaving five injured.
The attack was part of a larger aerial campaign, with Russian forces claiming they intercepted an additional 50 drones across Western Russia.
While Moscow labeled it a "terrorist attack," Ukraine simultaneously faced its own aerial onslaught, with Russia deploying a record 145 drones overnight.
Ukrainian forces reported downing 62 of these drones and launched a separate strike on an arsenal in Russia's Bryansk region, where local authorities confirmed 14 drones were intercepted.
