Finally! Kamala to give concession speech at 6 PM today
Bowing to the inevitable, Vice President Kamala Harris is set to concede the presidential race to Donald Trump many hours after news outlets called the race for her opponent.
Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is set to give a concession speech at 6 PM EST today (Wednesday), acknowledging her defeat at the hands of former and now President-elect Donald Trump.
While voting tallies continued to point increasingly to a Trump sweep of the vital "Blue Wall" states of the Upper Midwest - Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin - Harris and her campaign tried to hold onto hope that she would eventually eke out a narrow win.
With every news network officially calling these states as being won by Trump, Harris has now bowed to the inevitable. She will give her speech today, and she and President Biden will speak to the President-Elect.
President Biden will also give his own stand-alone speech to the American public about the stunning results.
