Elon Musk electrified the crowd at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, just three months after surviving an assassination attempt in the same location.
Speaking to over 20,000 supporters, Musk passionately endorsed the Republican candidate and emphasized the importance of voter registration.
Dressed in all black, including a custom black MAGA hat, Musk quipped, “I’m not just MAGA, I’m dark MAGA,” as he received a roaring welcome from the enthusiastic crowd.
“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America,” he declared.
In his brief but impactful remarks, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO criticized President Biden and the Democratic Party while showering praise on Trump, who had previously survived an assassination attempt in July. “You know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist pumping after getting shot,” Musk said.
Musk didn’t shy away from urging unregistered voters to act quickly, calling the November 5 election a “must-win situation.” He urged attendees to visit their local election offices and rally everyone they know to register.
“Register to vote. Get everyone you know — and everyone you don’t know. Drag them to register to vote,” he insisted. “If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction. Nothing’s more important.”
