Pagers explosion, Hezbollah operatives injured, Nasrallah

Rumours of Nasrallah Being Among the Injured in Lebanon; Terror Organization Denies claims

A senior figure in the Hezbollah terrorist organization has denied reports of the injury of the terror organization's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah. The official stated, "Nasrallah was not injured by the explosion of a communication device."

Thousands of Hezbollah operatives were injured earlier today in an attack on their beepers, which caused explosions in the organization's communication devices. Nearly everyone who was active in the organization and had a communication device was injured and taken to the hospital. Recently, rumors have emerged suggesting that the terrorist organization's leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was also injured. A senior Hezbollah official quickly responded to these reports, telling Reuters, "Nasrallah was not injured by the explosion of a communication device."

Three hours after the beeper attack in Lebanon, the scale of the devastation is revealed with astronomical numbers of casualties across the country. The Lebanese Ministry of Health recently updated the situation, reporting that over 2,800 Hezbollah operatives were injured by the explosion of communication devices.

The data also shows that among the injured, 200 are in critical condition. Currently, there are 8 reported fatalities. Estimates suggest that the number of fatalities will rise in the coming hours as the situation around Hezbollah and its bunkers becomes clearer. As time passes, the extent of the damage among the organization's forces will become more evident. The Wall Street Journal has published new details on the execution of the dramatic operation. According to the newspaper, contrary to initial assessments – which suggested that explosives were planted in the communication devices – it was actually malicious software implanted in the devices that caused them to overheat and explode. The report also mentions that some Hezbollah operatives noticed the beepers heating up and threw them away before they exploded.
