The French national anti-terrorist prosecutor Olivier Christen detailed that there had been "three foiled attacks" before the start of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The first "against bar-type establishments around the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium in Saint-Etienne", another group that had planned attacks against Israeli institutions and representatives in Paris" and finally "two people from Gironde who had planned to attack during the Olympics".
All those who planned these attacks were arrested, which led to five indictments," including that of "a minor," said the anti-terrorism prosecutor. All of them are now incarcerated, he said.
