In a candid and deeply personal message, Kate Middleton, or as she is also known– Catherine, Princess of Wales, just announced that her chemotherapy treatment is over.
"The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family," the Princess wrote, "Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."
Catherine didn't shy away from the harsh realities of cancer treatment, describing it as "complex, scary and unpredictable."
"This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life," she shared, emphasizing a newfound appreciation for "simply loving and being loved."
She also made it clear that her battle isn't over. "My path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes," she cautioned, balancing hope with realism.
Although she plans to gradually return to public life, she stressed that staying cancer-free remains her primary focus.
In a powerful show of solidarity, the Princess reached out to others facing cancer: "To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright."
