HORRIFIC SCHOOL SHOOTING: Multiple casualties in Georgia high school shooting; suspect in custody

Another shocking school shooting rocked America yesterday (Wednesday) at Apalachee High School, resulting in multiple casualties. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has confirmed at least four deaths and nine hospitalizations, with as many as 30 teens injured.

The FBI and ATF have joined forces with local law enforcement to investigate the shooting, while schools across the district were placed under lockdown as a precautionary measure.

Barrow County Sheriff Judd Smith describing it as "an evil thing," requesting that the public be patient as investigators piece together what happened.

Some of the critically injured victims were airlifted to specialized trauma centers, including Grady Health System in Atlanta, while other injured teens were sent to various other hospitals.

The White House confirmed that President Biden has been apprised of the situation.

Meanwhile, Georgia's Governor, Brian Kemp, has mobilized state resources to assist in the response and recovery efforts.
