Zelenskyy: Ukraine now controls 74 towns in Kursk salient

The Ukrainian President referred to this growing territorial gain as the state's "exchange fund," presumably meaning that this territory is a bargaining chip for future negotiations.

Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelenskyy posted a statement today (Tuesday) on X, where he announced that Ukraine had expanded its hold on the Kursk salient created by the Ukrainian Army inside Russian territory.

Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian Army now controls some 72 towns and that the country's "exchange fund" is growing, a possible reference to planned land swaps with Russia in the event of peace negotiations.
