WSJ: Israel on high alert due to preparations by Iran and Hezbollah

It remains unclear at this time if these preparations presage an imminent attack or not.

The Wall Street Journal reported today (Monday) that the IDF has been put on high alert due to detected preparations by Hezbollah and Iran to attack Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

The source speaking with the Wall Street Journal said Israel does not know if attacks are imminent, but that they were proceeding cautiously.

The IDF Spokesperson is expected to give a statement on the developing situation at 8:30 PM Israel time.
