The Israeli-American Council has announced plans to host a "hostage square" event near the planned convention of the Democratic national party in Chicago on August 20, according to reporting by the Forward.

The square, which will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM, will reportedly include art exhibits and tributes to the hostages by some of Israel's most prominent artists.

As a sign of the increasing danger faced by those who support Israel from radicals from the left, the location of the event will not be publicized in advance and is reportedly under the protection of "high level private security" as well as regular law enforcement.
