UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, known for her sharp criticism of Israel, renewed her accusations on Saturday, branding Israel’s actions as “genocide.” This followed an IDF strike targeting a Hamas command center located inside a mosque within the Al-Taba’een school compound.

The strike, which killed at least 19 terrorists, aimed to minimize civilian casualties. However, Gaza reports claim over 100 deaths, including many civilians.

In a social media post on X, Albanese condemned the attack, stating, “In the largest and most shameful concentration camp of the 21st century, Israel is genociding the Palestinians one neighborhood at the time, one hospital at the time, one school at the time, one refugee camp at the time, one 'safe zone' at the time. With US and European weapons. And amid the indifference of all ‘civilized nations’.”

She further expressed regret, saying, “May the Palestinians forgive us for our collective inability to protect them, honoring the most basic meaning of [international] law.”

The IDF is investigating reports of higher casualties to verify their accuracy. They also noted, "Hamas has been caught a number of times lying regarding everything connected to IDF strikes and its own strikes."

Francesca wrote "genocide" already in 2014 when she peddled anti-semitic tropes such as Jul 31 that year. And in January 2015 racist Franmvesca denigrated Holocaust victims by comparing Hamas butchers to Warsaw uprising no less. So her PALLYWEID terminology is just that. Propaganda.
