Former President Donald Trump labeled the recent sharp drop in the stock market as “the Kamala Crash,” tying it to Vice President Harris’s rise as the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

“Of course there is a massive market downturn. Kamala is even worse than Crooked Joe,” Trump, 78, wrote on social media Monday morning, following a dramatic 1,000-point plunge in the Dow Jones Industrial Average after it had already fallen over 600 points on Friday.

“Markets will NEVER accept the Radical Left Lunatic that DESTROYED San Francisco and California, as a whole. Next move, THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024! You can’t play games with MARKETS. KAMALA CRASH!!!” Trump added.

Economists have linked the stock market selloff to a weaker-than-expected jobs-growth report released Friday, which revealed only 114,000 new jobs added in July—well below the anticipated 175,000—indicating a potential slowdown or recession.

In a subsequent all-caps post, Trump declared: “VOTERS HAVE A CHOICE — TRUMP PROSPERITY, OR THE KAMALA CRASH & GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024, NOT TO MENTION THE PROBABILITY OF WORLD WAR lll IF THESE VERY STUPID PEOPLE REMAIN IN OFFICE. REMEMBER, TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!”
