Lebanese Report: "Iran’s Response Will Cross All Red Lines"

A Hezbollah and Iran-affiliated newspaper has published quotes from senior officials in the Iranian regime and Hezbollah leadership, claiming that Iran is planning an extreme response that could ignite a regional war.

The Lebanese newspaper Al-Mayadeen, close to Hezbollah, cited senior figures in the terror organization and Lebanese leadership who announced that Iran's response against Israel will be significant and will cross the red lines set by Israel and the United States.

The Lebanese sources close to Iran and the Shiite terror organization's leadership informed the newspaper’s editorial team that "Iran's response will cross all of Israel’s red lines." They also explained that Iran is not prepared to soften its response or announce it publicly as it did with the previous attack on Israel on the night between April 13 and 14.

The Lebanese media outlet also quoted Hezbollah officials stating that "Iran does not care about starting a regional war if it comes to that." These officials explained that Iran views the Israeli assassination in the heart of Tehran as a threat to the regime's sovereignty. They also noted that the Iranians fear that a weak response against Israel could trigger a chain of further actions within Iran.
