Under Russian Protection: Iran's Secret Weapon Revealed

Arab reports claim that Iran is deploying Russia's most advanced communication jamming system, Murmansk-BN, in strategic locations following the recent Israeli attack. This system is intended to enhance Iran's air defense capabilities, particularly in security-sensitive areas.

As part of efforts to counter future attacks, the Russian arms transport company Gelix Airlines has recently landed in Tehran. This landing may signal an additional strengthening of military ties between Russia and Iran and an increase in arms supplies to Iran, according to Maariv.

Saudi network Al-Arabiya reported that the destination was a radar system linked to a nuclear facility, while Iran claims to have destroyed three drones involved in the attack. Additional reports from Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin cited an American security official who stated that the Israeli strike targeted a military base in the Isfahan area near Natanz, rather than the nuclear facilities themselves. The official noted that the strikes included air defence systems at the base, which also served to protect nearby nuclear facilities.

These recent developments indicate a rise in tensions between Israel and Iran, with recent events highlighting the critical importance of defence and strategic systems in managing regional security tensions.
