Iranian officials have reportedly told Arab diplomats that they have no intention to scale back their response to the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, even if such an action leads to war, according to sources familiar with the conversations speaking to the Wall Street Journal.
Meanwhile, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the IDF's Ground Technology Division today (Sunday), which is responsible for providing operational technological solutions for problems on the battlefield.
During the meeting, Gallant stressed the importance of forming responses not only for current conditions but also in preparation for a rapid transition from defense to offense.
"I examined the deployment of IDF forces both in defense and on offense," he said at the end of the meeting. "We are very prepared in defense - on the ground and in the air - and we are ready to move quickly to the offensive or a response. We will exact a cost, as we are doing in recent days, from the enemy. If they dare to attack us, they will pay a heavy price."
