It's official: the office of Turkish President Recep Erdogan announced today (Wednesday) that PA Chairman Abu Mazen will visit the country on August 14-15. Abu Mazen is set to meet with Erdogan and speak before the Turkish Parliament in Ankara.

Abu Mazen reportedly refused to agree to this invitation before accepting it, leading to Erdogan sharply criticizing him for this decision, given the efforts Turkey has made to show solidarity with the Palestinians.
