A letter sent to reporter Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics today (Tuesday) shows a US Secret Service counter sniper saying he will not stop until at least 5 senior officials of the USSS step down over the failure to stop Thomas Crooks from attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

In the letter Crabtree posted on X, without and identifying name and address, the sniper said that the USSS agents on the ground did their job with their hands tied. He also said that the agency has been failing "for years" and that "We got lucky and looked good doing it."

After detailing the multiple times he tried to warn superiors and supervisors of the dangers and being brushed off, he ended the email, now deleted according to RealClearPolitics, with:

"The motto of the USSS...CYA."

Is "CYA" really the SS motto? If so, what does it mean? 'Cover Your Arses' maybe or 'Can't Yet Answer' or simple 'See Ya [mother fooker]' 😂
