Trump slams Democrats: "They hate Israel and the Jewish people" at fundraiser

At a recent fundraiser, Donald Trump accused Democrats of harboring animosity towards Israel and the Jewish community.

Former President Donald Trump accused the Democrats of “hating Israel” and “the Jewish people” during a private fundraiser organized by the Republican Jewish Coalition in New Jersey last night.

“The Democrats hate Israel. The Democrats largely hate the Jewish people. It's time for the Jewish people to step up and vote for the Republicans and for Donald Trump, and we're gonna save Israel,” Trump declared.

His remarks come in a political climate where a majority of Jewish Americans identify as Democrats, with polls showing about two-thirds preferring Biden over Trump.

Trump previously made similar accusations in March, claiming that Jewish voters who support Democrats are betraying Israel and “their religion.” During that interview, he had stated, “I actually think they hate Israel. I think they hate Israel. And the Democrat party hates Israel,” in response to criticisms of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
