Erdogan: We can invade Israel, too

Commenting on his opposition to the war in Gaza, Erdogan said that Turkey could invade Israel "just as we entered Karabakh, just as we entered Libya."

Turkish President Recep Erdogan threatened today (Sunday) that Turkey can also invade Israel "just as we entered Karabakh, just as we entered Libya," if Israel does not stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

This is a major escalation in the tension between the two countries, as Turkey has already declared a trade embargo against Israel for the duration of the war in Gaza.

Erdogan said that "There is nothing we cannot do. Only we must be strong."

Israel and other countries have not yet responded to this open threat from a NATO country.
