Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer posted a condemnation of the Union Station protests today (Thursday), calling them "vile, offensive, wrong."

In a post he published on X, Schumer said that "Hamas is a terrorist organization. Exalting them and burning Union Station’s American flag is disgraceful. Defacing public property is illegal. Hateful, antisemitic messages and threats against Jews have no place here."

Earlier today, Vice President Kamala Harris posted a similarly strongly worded condemnation, calling protestors "unpatriotic" and saying they were engaging in "dangerous" rhetoric.
