With Israeli assistance: Germany takes step against Iran

The German Interior Minister announced today the prohibition of activities at the Islamic Centre in Hamburg (IZH) and its branches across Germany due to their connections with Iran and attempts to propagate revolutionary Islamic ideology.

Today, the German Interior Minister declared the Islamic Center in Hamburg (IZH) and its branches in Germany off-limits for activities. Consequently, law enforcement authorities in Germany raided 53 properties in eight states and seized documents and evidence. Foreign Minister Katz stated: "I commend the German authorities. We must stop Iran before it's too late."

The centre's activities were prohibited due to its ties to the Islamic regime in Iran and its attempts to promote a revolutionary ideology that opposes democratic values, human rights, and separation of powers. Additionally, its support for Hezbollah (whose activities are similarly banned in Germany) and the spread of anti-Semitism were noted.

This move is a result of concerted efforts by German authorities, in conjunction with the Foreign Ministry, following discussions between Foreign Minister Katz and his German counterpart, Heiko Maas, as well as meetings between embassy representatives and German government officials.

This marks another significant step taken by Germany against the promotion of extremist Islamist ideology within its territory, while emphasizing freedom of speech and the rights of Muslims to practice their religion.

Israeli Foreign Minister Katz stated: "Iran poses the greatest threat to global stability and undermines democracies, aiming to export radical Islam through revolutionary guards and impose the Ayatollah regime worldwide. Together with its terror infrastructure, Iran must pay the price for the terror it spreads across the Middle East and around the world. I commend the German authorities and call on other countries to follow suit in combating the murderous regime in Tehran. We must stop Iran now before it's too late."
