Authorities in Bushey, a London suburb, have launched a manhunt for 26-year-old Kyle Clifford from Enfield following the tragic murders of three women. Police responded to a residence on Ashlyn Close on Tuesday evening and discovered three critically injured women, all of whom tragically succumbed to their injuries despite efforts from emergency responders.
The victims, aged 61, 28, and 25, were found to be related. Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson described the incident as a targeted attack involving a crossbow, with indications that other weapons may have been used as well.
Residents of the neighbourhood expressed shock and sadness over the incident, describing the victims as a friendly family they would often see and greet daily. The scene was attended by a significant emergency response, including multiple police units, ambulances, and air ambulances.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit emphasized the seriousness of the incident and appealed to the public for any information regarding Kyle Clifford's whereabouts. Clifford is believed to be in either Hertfordshire or north London, and police urge anyone with information to come forward immediately, emphasizing the need for privacy and respect for the victims' family during this difficult time.
Local police have also warned regarding approaching the suspect “Given the serious nature of the incident, I would ask anyone who knows where he is to contact police immediately. If you believe you see him, please do not approach him and dial 999 straight away. He may still be in possession of a weapon.”
