"I don't know who's making decisions": Multiple Democratic lawmakers increasingly frustrated with Biden

Axios reports that multiple Democratic lawmakers are increasingly anxious about losing not just the White House but also both Houses of Congress due to the President's debate and post-debate conduct.

Top Democratic lawmakers have told Axios that they are increasingly nervous and angry with what they see as the Biden administration's confusing and obtuse response to questions about the President's mental fitness, following the debate last week with Donald Trump.

One particular complaint is that Biden has not reached out to Democratic Congressional leaders, and some want those same leaders to privately convince Biden to step aside for another candidate.

"Strangely, we are getting to the point where it may not have been the debate that did him in, but the aftermath of how they've handled it," a major Democratic operative told Axios, in reference to what they see as obfuscation and stonewalling by Biden and those in his entourage.

Some Democratic donors are reportedly moving to shore up House and Senate elections rather than support the President's reelection bid.
