Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has reportedly declared toys to be a "cultural invasion" which do not conform to Iranian culture and contain western influence, according to Iran International English.

Khamenei reportedly continues to worry about the influence of western toys despite crackdowns leading to half the usual number of them entering the country - including Barbies, which have been blacklisted.
