Israel's naval version of Iron Dome has first successful operational interception

The defense company Rafael reported that its C-Dome successfully intercepted a hostile target headed towards southern Israel from the sea.

According to defense company Refael, the Israeli Navy reported yesterday (Wednesday) that it had successfully intercepted a hostile object headed towards southern Israel with C-DOME, Israel's naval version of Iron Dome.

Rafael said that this is the C-DOME's first successful operational interception of a projectile, after many years of development of the system, which is integrated with the Israeli Navy's Sa'ar 6 corvettes.
