Report: Senior Emirati source pessimistic about PA reform

According to Kann 11 News reporter Roi Kais, the meeting between the Emirati Foreign Minister and Abu Mazen's adviser was indeed tense.

A senior Emirati source told Kann 11 News reporter Kann News that the meeting between the UAE Foreign Minister and PA President Abu Mazen's advisor was indeed tense.

According to the source, the UAE is very pessimistic about reform in the Palestinian Authority, though he did say that if the US really wants to force it, then it will happen.

The source said that the Foreign Minister confronted the Palestinians with the truth, saying that "We care that the Palestinians are properly served by their leaders."
