Report in Iran: Kuds Force commander dies from "unclear illness"
Vajihollah Muradi, a senior Quds Force officer close to Qassem Suleimani and in charge of Iranian forces in Syria, died today from an "unclear illness."

A mysterious death in Iran: Vajihollah Muradi, a senior IRGC officer, died last weekend in a north Iran hospital, according to Iranian media. Muradi was considered a leading force in establishing Iranian forces in Syria and was close to Qassem Suleimani who was eliminated by the US Army in 2020.
According to official Iranian state media, Muradi died after suffering from an "unclear illness," and his funeral will take place today (Sunday) in the city of Babolsar.
While opposition sources question whether he truly died from an illness, no official information confirms this suspicion.
