Although his execution has been delayed for a month, Arvin Nathaniel Ghahremani, the Jew facing execution for killing a Muslim in self-defense two years ago, suffered a blow when the Iranian Supreme Court rejected his request for a retrial, according to Kann 11 News reporter Roi Kais.

The only other way for Ghahremani to escape execution is for the family of the slain Muslim to agree to receive compensation for the death, instead, and thus far the family has staunchly refused to do so.
