Today (Tuesday), the US Senate overcame a major hurdle in passing an appropriations bill to provide Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan with billions in aid.
By a vote of 80-19, with the minimum votes required being 60, the Senate passed a resolution to end debate on the Senate adopting the House bill sending billions in aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.
The bill is now set for a final vote in the Senate and if it passes, will be sent to the White House for final approval.
