US bill containing $95 billion in aid for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan passes major hurdle in Senate

The Senate voted 80-19 to end debate on the House bill appropriating billions in aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan. The bill now goes to a final vote and if it passes, to the President's desk.

Today (Tuesday), the US Senate overcame a major hurdle in passing an appropriations bill to provide Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan with billions in aid.

By a vote of 80-19, with the minimum votes required being 60, the Senate passed a resolution to end debate on the Senate adopting the House bill sending billions in aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

The bill is now set for a final vote in the Senate and if it passes, will be sent to the White House for final approval.
