Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi commented on the extensive night attack against Israel, claiming that, "our forces taught the Zionist enemy a lesson" - this despite the fact that the drones and cruise missiles launched from Iran failed to penetrate Israeli territory. He also threatened that "any new adventure will be met with a heavier response, which will make them regret it."

Earlier today, speaker of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Bakr Kalibaf, claimed that "the Iranian people have dealt the enemy a blow that taught them a lesson." "The response made the hearts of our people happy. The response is an answer to the Zionist crime and within the framework of the UN Charter. If Israel takes action - the Iranian response will be even more severe," he added.

Also today, Iranian television broadcast a meeting of parliament in which local diplomats appeared cheering the attack and chanting "death to Israel."

The Iranian Chief of Staff, Mohammad Bakri, also threatened that "if Israel responds - our response will be greater compared to tonight's attack. According to him, "We sent a message to the US that if it cooperates with Israel in the next steps - its bases will not be safe."
